Magical Macro!

"Le Petit Poisson Rouge"

I had a so much fun doing the makeup for these stunning images captured by photographer Dorit Thies for Zink magazine's Summer 2011 issue. Our model, Amanda@Photogenics represented the little fish out of water perfectly and really got into the spirit of the shoot. Mitch Stone@Cloutier did the hair. Amanda's skin is super pale and was the perfect canvas for me to really go crazy with colors..I used MAC acrylic paints and Make Up For Ever Aqua creams to create strong bursts of color that popped on camera and really accentuated her paleness.
