Yesterday I had the pleasure of working with photographer Matthew Jordan Smith www.matthewjordansmith.com on an editorial shoot at El Matador beach in Malibu. We couldn't have asked for a better day... The weather here in Sunny California was absolutely perfect, with temperatures in the mid 70's and bright blue skies. Matthew wanted to do a story based on the classic movie "From Here To Eternity". Our models Hayley@Nous and Patrick@L.A.Models, were amazing, and really captured the spirit of the film. I wanted Hayley's makeup to reflect the time frame of the 1950's, yet still be modern. I used
L'Oreal Telescopic Waterproof Eyeliner - Black
on her eyes to bring out the retro winged eye, and kept the rest of her makeup clean. Here are a couple of previews...More to follow soon!
